How to sew a lovely keepsake bear
Materials
- 1/2 yard of fabric
- 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric
- Embroidery floss
- Stuffing
- Sewing machine
Instructions
Step1
Cut out the bear's body and head from the fabric. The body should be two rectangles, each measuring 6 inches by 8 inches. The head should be one rectangle, measuring 4 inches by 6 inches.
Step 2
Sew the body and head pieces together, leaving a small opening at the bottom of the body for stuffing.
Step 3
Turn the bear right side out and stuff it with stuffing. Sew the opening closed.
Step 4
Cut out four circles from the contrasting fabric for the bear's eyes and nose. Sew the circles to the bear's face.
Step 5
Using embroidery floss, stitch a mouth and whiskers on the bear.
Step 6
Add any other desired details, such as a bow or collar.
